Livingston Medical
The Shire of Gnowangerup would like to extend our warmest wishes to the entire community for a healthy, happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Please be advised that Livingston Medical will be closed from 24th December to 29th December 2024, with appointments resuming on 30th December 2024.
In addition, Council has been actively listening to community feedback regarding support for our local hospital. We are pleased to inform you that there will be changes in the medical services space in 2025. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. West for his service and dedication to the community in 2024.
We are excited to announce the arrival of Dr. Temitope Oni, affectionately known as Temi, who will be joining us in January 2025. Dr. Oni is an experienced doctor who has practiced in Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, and Canada as a General Practitioner and Rural Emergency Doctor. His special interests include Obstetrics, Family Medicine, and Mental Health.
Dr. Oni is relocating from Canada in January 2025 and will be making Gnowangerup his home.
The services offered by Dr. Oni will include:
- Full hospital on-call emergency service
- Hospital inpatient services
- Aged care
- Family medicine
- Aboriginal health
- Skin cancer services
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Oni to the community and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our local health services. Ensuring we have a doctor with qualifications that satisfy our hospital requirements is very important to our Council, and we thank Livingston for working with us in this space.
