Private Works

The Shire's range of modern plant and equipment, operated by trained and experienced staff, is available for private works hire. For Information on current hire rates for graders, loaders, trucks, backhoe and other plant are available from the Shire Depot – 9827 1338.

The Shire also has materials available for sale. These include, mulch, sand and blue metal (including sweepings). These are available per the cubic meter and can be delivered. For further information and costings, call the Shire Depot on 9827 1338.

Fallen Trees

If you would like to report a fallen tree within the Shire of Gnowangerup, please call the Shire Depot to report – 9827 1338. It is important that you give as much information that you have to the officer on the phone.

• Location of the tree – road that it is on and nearest intersection.
• Size of the tree – do we need to bring machinery to move or just a chainsaw.
• Is it blocking the whole road?

If it is on a Main roads road, you can report it directly to main roads by calling 138 138.
