MANAGER OF WORKS

The Shire is seeking a local government professional, with engineering qualifications or relevant experience in civil road construction and maintenance to take on the role of Manager of Works. This position is responsible for carrying out the development and delivery of Councils Annual Capital Works Program as well as road maintenance and parks and gardens for Gnowangerup, Borden and Ongerup.

 

This position is based on a permanent employment contract between 3-5 years, with an attractive remuneration package, to be negotiated with the successful applicant, and a cash component (base salary) between $100,000 and $110,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Salary and benefits are subject to negotiation and benefits may include, but not limited to, additional matching superannuation, provision of staff housing and unrestricted private use of a motor vehicle.
