Gnowangerup Heritage Trail
Welcome to the Gnowangerup Heritage Trail website. This website expands on the stories that you will learn on the trail.
The physical trail is a delightful 2km walk trail which explores some highlights of Gnowangerup’s history through its heritage buildings.
While most of the trail can be walked along the footpath, there are short sections without concrete footpaths and you will need to safely cross roads. Participants following the trail do so at their own risk and are asked to remain aware of local traffic at all times.
There are five storyboard signs which will provide you with information on what you will see on the next leg of the trail. As you walk keep an eye out for the brass markers with the iconic Mallee Fowl, these will be found on buildings that are a part of the Heritage Trail.
Take a listen to the audio stories to hear about the early days in Gnowangerup!
