COMMUNITY FINANCIAL ASSISTANT GRANTS
The Community Financial Assistance Grants (CFAG) Program gives community groups and local organisations the opportunity to access Shire support for projects, events and community activities. There are three categories of funding available for projects taking place in 17/18 financial year.
- 1. Quick Community Grants - for applications up to $500, primarily for volunteer support.
- 2. Community Grants- for applications from $501 - $5,000 aimed at supporting community groups with small capital projects, events, projects etc.
- 3. Special Requests Community Grant – for applications from $5,000 - $20,000
This year the Shire will also provide applicants with the opportunity to attend a free grant writing workshops on Tuesday 18th April 2017. This workshop will offer a guide to the Community Financial Assistance Grant process as well as offer participants an opportunity to talk to other funding bodies.

Applications are to be received no later than 4pm on Friday 5th May, 2017.
